What the heck Like to Know it and how does it work?
If you have Instagram or follow any of your favorite fashion bloggers, interior decorators, or frugal find gurus online, or maybe have seen that cute little heart heart with a circle around it, then you may be wondering… what the heck is Like to Know it?! You see it tagged in the caption with a cute little link to click and wonder why?? Well basically, it lets you know that you can get all of the details on items in that picture! Example, my post here will tell you where to get my dress, my cardigan the sneakers and my jewelry.  Score!
Okay, great, but how does Like to Know it, or Liketoknow.it (LTK) actually work? Let me explain. Think of this as a social network or platform for shopping. You can instantly shop items that inspire you worn or used by influencers. RewardStyle created this amazing web and app-based program, and trust me, it is a game changer. The best part, this inspiration from real people is completely free! All you need is an email. Simply download the Liketoknow.it app for IOS or Android. Then, next time you come across a Like to Know it enabled pic, you can snag the look a few ways:Â
- Taking a screenshot of that pic, then heading to the app.
- If there is is a direct link, simply click that.
- Heading straight to the app and visiting your favorite influencer’s page to find the outfit or items that caught your eye!
It’s really that simple!  You can also simply head to the app and search items just like you would any other store, including beauty products, home good items, and supplements, and so much more! It really is a fun and unique way to shop or snag some serious inspiration!
Want to be a Like to Know it Influencer?
If you are wondering how you can become a Like to Know it Influencer, or why someone would want to become one, then I will break it all down for you here! First off, it does generate some income. Now, I highly encourage you to NOT quit your day job, but if you have a passion for decorating, fashion, frugal finds, or have a fun and unique niche and love putting together ideas, outfits, and inspiring concepts, then this can be a fun way to make some extra cash from the comfort of your own home! I have heard cases where people make a full time living off of it, so I guess it is safe to say – sky’s the limit! Each time someone shops through one of your published links, you will make a commission. Â
How to get accepted to RewardStyle
In order to be a featured influencer on LiketoKnow.it, you have to be accepted to RewardStyle. Now, it is not uncommon to be rejected after the first attempt of applying, so do not get discouraged. RewardStyle has grown very quickly, so it may take a bit of work! Now, while there are no published or specific requirements to be found, I will give you my best tips here:
- My first and most important tip – take HIGH quality pictures. They will not want to have you posting poor quality photos on the platform, and your instagram is your “audition” if you will, so make sure your photos are clear, well-lit, and look amazing! Having a page aesthetic helps too!
- Have a good following with a high engagement number! If you have a brand new page with little to know following or engagement, you should work on that first before applying.
- Finally – having an established blog helps, but is not necessary! While I got in to RewardStyle BEFORE I launched my blog, I can honestly say that my success with the program has really thrived since implementing my blog, and I have a much higher reach! Â
- Get referred! Many RewardStyle-ers claim that they have had better luck by being referred by a fellow creator!Â
